Symptoms
Consider the following scenario:
-
You open two web pages in two Internet Explorer tabs on a Windows RT 8.1, Windows 8.1, or Windows Server 2012 R2-based computer.
-
You wait for several minutes so that one of the tabs is suspended.
-
The active tab makes a COM call to the suspended tab. For example, a COM call is made when you click a button on the tab.
In this scenario, the active tab appears frozen.
Note This update supports the tabs that are running as App Containers or the tabs that are running at Low or Medium integrity levels.Resolution
