Symptoms

Consider the following scenario:

  • You add a new job step in Microsoft SQL Server 2012.

  • You specify a Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) package in the New Job Step dialog box.

  • On the Set values tab, you input a property path and value that contain double quotation marks. For example, you input "1".

  • You save the new job step.

  • You open the job step and check the Set values tab.

In this scenario, the property path and value are not saved. Additionally, the Property Path and Value fields on the Set values tab are empty.
