Symptoms
When you perform a tracing session in SQL Server 2016, diagnostics information cannot be sent for Master Data Services web application or for the Master Data Services Add-in for Microsoft Excel.
Resolution
The fix for this issue is included in the following cumulative update for SQL Server:
