Symptoms
When you run DBCC CHECKDB on a database that contains non-clustered columnstore index, you may receive error messages that resemble the following:
Msg 5283, Level 16, State 1
The Cross Rowset check on columnstore index object ID <object id>, index ID <index id>, partition ID <partition id>. Drop and recreate the columnstore index.
DBCC results for <index name>.
There are m rows in n pages for object <index name>.
CHECKDB found 0 allocation errors and n consistency errors in table <index name> (object ID <object id>).
DBCC results for <table name>.There are m rows in n pages for object <table name>.
Resolution
The issue was first fixed in the following cumulative update of SQL Server:
Each new cumulative update for SQL Server contains all the hotfixes and all the security fixes that were included with the previous cumulative update. We recommend that you download and install the latest cumulative updates for SQL Server:
