Symptoms
Assume that you use Microsoft SQL Server 2016 Reporting Services (SSRS 2016) web portal to view reports. Then, you set the view in the web portal to the List layout and search for a report by name in the search bar. In this situation, when you click a report from the search results, you may receive an error message that resembles the following:
An attempt was made to set a report parameter 'filter' that is not defined in this report. (rsUnknownReportParameter)
Resolution
This issue is fixed in the following cumulative update for SQL Server:
