Symptoms

When you execute R scripts in Microsoft SQL Server 2016, SQL Server may crash. Additionally, an access violation in sqlmin!TListElem may occur.

Resolution

This fix is included in Cumulative Update 3 for SQL Server 2016 Service Pack 1.

Each new build for SQL Server 2016 contains all the hotfixes and all the security fixes that were included with the previous build. We recommend that you install the latest build for SQL Server 2016.
