This improvement adds a new extended event query_post_execution_plan_profile in SQL Server 2017. With the help of this improvement, you can do the following operations:

Collect an equivalent to the actual execution plan for all queries.

Make the plans immediately available to analyze runtime performance statistics for troublesome queries.

Use the information corresponding to the actual execution plan to identify the important issues.
