Symptoms

Consider the following scenario:

  • Assume that you install Microsoft SQL Server 2014, 2016 or 2017.

  • You enable the Change Tracking feature on any of the tables in your database. You also enable auto cleanup in this database.

  • When the auto cleanup procedure runs in this database, you notice that the Transaction Log (Tlog) grows quickly.
