Symptoms
With an online transaction workload on the SQL Server 2019 database, you may notice severe contention on the LOGCACHE_ACCESS spinlock, with large numbers of collisions and spins, followed by a high contention on the LOGFLUSHQ spinlocks. This results in a SQL Server performance degradation.

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.

This issue is fixed in the following cumulative update for SQL Server:
