Improvement
This improvement adds a new Protection Key feature in Microsoft SQL Server 2019 on Linux. The following are some of the new features that are provided:

Protect Process Memory inside SQLPAL instance from overlapping memory operations that occur because of issues within SQLPAL (stray pointers, SQLPAL malfunctions, and so on)

Protect Data on persistent memory from being corrupted by memory scribblers (stray pointers, SQL/SQLPAL malfunctions, and so on)
Resolution
This improvement is included in the following cumulative update for SQL Server:

memory_optimized = true
