Summary
This article describes the update for daylight saving time (DST) changes for Chile and Jordan in Windows Embedded Compact 2013.
REMINDER Before you install this update, all previously issued updates for Windows Embedded Compact 2013 must be installed.
Changes by location
The Chilean government made an official announcement about a daylight saving time (DST) time zone change. Starting at 12:00 AM Saturday, September 10, 2022 until 12:00 AM Saturday, April 1, 2023, the official time will advance 60 minutes.
This update includes the following time zone updates for Chile:

Clocks were forwarded by an hour at 12:00 AM on September 11, 2022 for the Santiago time zone.

Clocks were forwarded by an hour at 10:00 PM on September 10, 2022 for the Easter Islands time zone.
The Jordanian government made an official announcement about the following daylight saving time (DST) time zone updates. This release updates the daylight saving time (DST) for Jordan to prevent moving the clock back 1 hour on October 28, 2022. Additionally, the display name of Jordan standard time is changed from “(UTC+02:00) Amman” to “(UTC+03:00) Amman”.
On October 5, 2022, the winter-time DST time zone change ends. Starting at 12:00 AM Friday, October 28, 2022, the official time will not advance by an hour and will permanently shift to the UTC+3 time zone.
This update includes the following time zone updates for Jordan:

Clocks were not advanced by an hour at 12:00 AM on October 28, 2022 for the Jordan time zone.

The Jordan time zone is permanently updated to the UTC+3 time zone.

The Windows Embedded Compact 2013 Monthly Update (December 2022) is now available from Microsoft. To download the update, go to the Device Partner Center (DPC).
Prerequisites
This update is supported only if all previously issued updates for this product have also been installed.
Restart requirement
After you apply this update, you must perform a clean build of the whole platform. To do this, use one of the following methods:

On the Build menu, click Clean Solution, and then click Build Solution.

On the Build menu, click Rebuild Solution.
You do not have to restart the computer after you apply this software update.
Update replacement
This update does not replace any other updates.
