Sign In to Journal

Calendar and meetings are supported if you sign into Journal using either:

To sign in, tap the Settings button Icon used on settings button in Journal in the top right of the app and then tap Sign In with Microsoft.

Create Personal Meeting Notes

Easily create personal meetings notes directly from the Home Screen. Once you’ve signed in you will see your calendar.

  1. Tap a calendar item to start taking personal meeting notes

  2. You will be prompted to pick an existing journal or have the option to create a new journal.
For recurring meetings, future instances will be created in the journal you choose in this step.

All your content in Journal stays private and is not shared unless you take some action to share it. If you wish others to see your notes, you can email an image of a page by selecting Send Page via Email from the Page Menu or by accessing the Select mode  Icon used on button in Journal that turns on multiselect mode  in the Side Panel, selecting one or more pages, and choosing the E-mail option.

Meeting Headers

Once you choose a journal, you’ll be able to start taking notes.

  • Pages associated with meetings will get the Meeting Header on each page.

  • As you scroll to add new pages, the Meeting Header from the previous page will continue so it’s easy to keep writing out your ideas.

  • To remove a header:

    • Tap the close button  Icon used on the close button in Journal on the header right when you create the page, or

    • Tap the 3 dots  Icon used to show there is a details menu on an item in Journal at the top right of the page to access the Page Menu and choose Unlink from Meeting.
