Summary
Starting in the Microsoft Exchange Server Subscription Edition (SE) May 2026 Hotfix Update, Exchange Server supports the use of the Microsoft Graph API in hybrid deployments for free/busy information, profile picture sharing and for MailTips (partially). This change replaces the use of Exchange Web Services (EWS) for most hybrid scenarios, because EWS is scheduled to be retired from Exchange Online in October 2026.
