Symptoms
When users try to register Microsoft Power BI or update a Power BI registration, the Report Server Configuration Manager doesn't register, and it generates a "400, HostNameNotOnVerifiedDomain" error message. A fix for all affected versions of the Report Server Configuration Manager was released by November 9, 2021, to address this error.
For more information about why this fix is required, see the "AppId Uri in single tenant applications will require use of default scheme or verified domains" section of What's new for authentication?
