Microsoft Learning Zone enables educators to generate and preview new lessons tailored to their students. This feature supports the creation of interactive and personalized content to enhance the learning experience.

Lessons within the Microsoft Learning Zone can be generated by uploading files or browsing the resource library. After generating a lesson, educators have the opportunity to review and edit the content before assigning it to their students.

Add slides

Slides can be manually added, removed, and nested to ensure full control over the lesson structure.

You can navigate to each of the lesson slides from the list on the left. In addition to the generated slides, you can add new or duplicate the existing slides by choosing +Add at the top of the slide list.

Note:  By selecting the Media slide template, you can add an online video to your lesson.

Link slides

You can also show a slide conditionally – only if the student gave an incorrect answer in the previous question slide. To do this, navigate to the … at the upper right corner of your slide and choose Link to previous slide.

Edit your content

Every aspect of each slide is easily editable. For content slides, educators can change text, crop, remove, or add new images. For question slides, such as True/False or Fill in the blanks, you can alter the question, as well as  answer options and distractors, remove them, or add new ones.

Tip:  You can always undo your changes by pressing the undo button in the lower right corner, next to the Exit and Save options.

In addition to manual changes, you can use AI features to modify slide content by choosing one of the options in the lower right corner:screenshot of regenerate options

  • Regenerate – generates the slide content again

  • Adjust - makes changes to the content to simplify the language used

Note:  Before deciding to make changes, educators can easily access citations used in AI-generated content. By pressing the Info button in the top right corner of each slide preview, they are able to review the sources referenced in the slide content. This ensures transparency and helps maintain the integrity of the instructional material.
