Rich Text Format isn't fully preserved in the exported archiving data in Skype for Business 2015 (Lync 2013)

Symptoms

Assume that you apply some color, underlining and/or bold formats in the font to the conversation text in Microsoft Skype for Business 2015 (Lync 2013). When you run the Export-CsArchivingData cmdlet to export archiving data to monitor the end-user conversations, you find that the color in the text is missing.

Resolution

To fix this issue, install the April 4, 2017, update (KB3178731) for Skype for Business 2015 (Lync 2013).

Note Lync 2013 was upgraded to Skype for Business in April 2015.
