Shopping with Microsoft Copilot

Copilot makes it easy to discover, compare, and buy products. It tracks price drops and sales, offers impartial advice, and helps streamline your purchases along the way.

Shopping features in Copilot are currently available only in certain markets.

Note

Copilot can occasionally make mistakes, so verify key product information, pricing, and purchase terms on the retailer's website. Retailers set their own prices and availability and may change them without notice. Microsoft isn't liable for any discrepancies or changes in pricing or availability status.

Using shopping features in Copilot

Here's how to use Copilot to search for products:

  1. Ask Copilot a shopping or product-related question. For example, "Help me find some comfortable slip-on shoes I can use for walking outdoors."
  2. Copilot responds with several product cards, each showing a photo of the item, the store where it's available, the price, and ratings. Scroll left and right to browse your options. Copilot chooses these options based on your prompt, likely engagement, available merchant data, and other factors to help you find what you need.
  3. To see more details about any option, select View Details. This opens a page with more sizes, stores, a summary of reviews, and a chart of the product's price history. Select X at the bottom of the page to return to the previous view.
  4. Select Buy to go directly to the store's purchase page.

Price tracking in Copilot

Whether you're browsing a group of products or viewing a single product page, you can ask Copilot to help track price changes. Here's how:

  1. Select Track Price or the alert icon next to the product you want to track. Copilot opens a notification window that says "I'm tracking the price for you."
  2. In the notification window, select Manage to set your price goal (for example, 20% off the list price) and choose how long you want Copilot to alert you about price changes (for example, 3 months).
  3. From here, you can also turn on email alerts. Otherwise, you'll only get price notifications in the Copilot app.
  4. To turn off alerts, select Track Price or the alert icon again. Copilot opens a notification window that says "I've stopped tracking."

Product suggestions and search results

When you search for product information, Copilot summarizes and returns relevant results from across the web and from advertisers. Except where noted, Microsoft doesn't receive commissions or other compensation for product suggestions or search results in Copilot. Sponsored links are clearly identified, and ranking isn't affected by commissions Microsoft may earn from other links.
