Symptoms
Assume that a user is his or her own manager in an organization. When you click the ORGANIZATION tab in the contact card of the user in Skype for Business 2016, Skype for Business 2016 crashes for all users.
Resolution
To fix this issue, install the September 6, 2016, update (KB3118260) for Office 2016.
More Information
It doesn't matter if an immediate manager is assigned as a manager to himself or herself. This assignment can be done at any layer up in the hierarchy. For example, the CEO could be assigned as his or her own manager in Active Directory. There are other ways of reproducing this, such as, assigning two users to each other as a manager. For example, user A's manager is user B, and user B's manager is user A.
