Symptoms

On a computer that is running Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 R2, the system may crash and generate Stop error code 0x00000027 in the Rdbss.sys process. 

Cause

This problem occurs because the Redirected Drive Buffering SubSystem (Rdbss.sys) driver incorrectly frees a file control block (FCB) object two times.
