This article applies to Microsoft Dynamics NAV for the Italian (it) language locale.

Symptoms

After you apply hotfix 2275969 in the Italian version of Microsoft Dynamics NAV, the country/region payment code does not work as expected.
For more information about hotfix 2275969, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:

2275969 The Scambi.cee file is always created by using the "Country/Region Code" value to fill in the "Country of Payment" field in the Italian version of Microsoft Dynamics NAV
This problem occurs in the following products:

  • The Italian version of Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 Service Pack 1

  • The Italian version of Microsoft Dynamics NAV 5.0 Service Pack 1

Cause

This problem occurs because the field is always set as IT (company information country code) for a vendor. For a customer, the field is set to use the country region code of the customer itself. You expect the vendor to take the country/region code from the vendor card and the customer to take the country/region code from the company information.

To resolve this problem, follow these steps:

  1. Change the code in the ValidateSourceEntryNo function in the Intrastat Jnl. Line table (263) as follows:
    Existing code

    Amount := ROUND(-Amount,GLSetup."Amount Rounding Precision");
    // PS58630.begin
    "Document No." := VATEntry."Document No.";
    // PS58630.end
    // PS58654.begin
    "Country/Region of Payment Code" := GetIntrastatCountryCode(VATEntry."Country/Region Code"); // new line
    // PS58654.end
    IF VATEntry."Document Type" = VATEntry."Document Type" :: "Credit Memo" THEN BEGIN
    IF SalesCrMemoHeader.GET(VATEntry."Document No.") THEN BEGIN
    "Corrected Document No." := SalesCrMemoHeader."Applies-to Doc. No.";
    ...
    Amount := ROUND(Amount,GLSetup."Amount Rounding Precision");
    // PS58630.begin
    "Document No." := VATEntry."External Document No.";
    // PS58630.end
    // PS58654.begin
    CompanyInfo.GET; // new line
    "Country/Region of Payment Code" := GetIntrastatCountryCode(CompanyInfo."Country/Region Code"); // new line
    // PS58654.end
    IF VATEntry."Document Type" = VATEntry."Document Type" :: "Credit Memo" THEN
    IF PurchCrMemoHeader.GET(VATEntry."Document No.") THEN BEGIN
    "Corrected Document No." := PurchCrMemoHeader."Applies-to Doc. No.";
    ...

    Replacement code

    IF PurchCrMemoHeader.GET(VATEntry."Document No.") THEN BEGIN
    "Corrected Document No." := PurchCrMemoHeader."Applies-to Doc. No.";
    ...
  2. Change the code in the GetPmtMthdCompCountry function in the Intrastat - Make Disk Tax Auth report (593) as follows:
    Existing code

    OutText += FormatAlphaNum("Intra - form Buffer"."Country/Region of Payment Code",2);
    // PS58654.end
    EXIT(OutText);
    ...

    Replacement code

    ...
    IF PaymentMethod.GET("Intra - form Buffer"."Payment Method") THEN;
    OutText += FormatAlphaNum(PaymentMethod."Intrastat Payment Method",1);

    // The following lines are changed.
