This article applies to Microsoft Dynamics NAV for the Portuguese (pt) language locale.

Symptoms

Consider the following scenario in the Portuguese version of Microsoft Dynamics NAV:

  • You post an invoice for a customer in a sales journal.

  • You post a second invoice for general ledger accounts only in another sales journal.

  • You export a SAF-T file.

In this scenario, in the exported SAF-T file, the CustomerID value of the first sales journal is used for the second transaction. This problem occurs in the following products:

  • The Portuguese version of Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 R2

  • The Portuguese version of Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 Service Pack 1

  • The Portuguese version of Microsoft Dynamics NAV 5.0 Service Pack 1

Resolution

Hotfix information

A supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft. However, it is only intended to correct the problem that is described in this article. Apply it only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem. This hotfix may receive additional testing. Therefore, if you are not severely affected by this problem, we recommend that you wait for the next Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 service pack or the next Microsoft Dynamics NAV version that contains this hotfix.

Note In special cases, charges that are ordinarily incurred for support calls may be canceled if a Technical Support Professional for Microsoft Dynamics and related products determines that a specific update will resolve your problem. The usual support costs will apply to additional support questions and issues that do not qualify for the specific update in question.

Code changes

Note Always test code fixes in a controlled environment before you apply the fixes to your production computers.
To resolve this problem, follow these steps:

  1. Add the following global variable in the SAF-T PT form (13382):

    JournalsFlag@1110015 : Boolean;
  2. Change the code in the CheckANDModifyFile function in the SAF-T PT form (13382) as follows:
    Existing code

    ...
    InPutFile.OPEN(TempFileName);
    WHILE InPutFile.POS < InPutFile.LEN DO BEGIN
    InPutFile.READ(TextLine);

    // Delete the following line.
    IF NOT RemoveDebitOrCreditLine(TextLine) THEN

    OutPutFile2.WRITE(TextLine);
    END;
    InPutFile.CLOSE;
    ...

    Replacement code

    ...
    InPutFile.OPEN(TempFileName);
    WHILE InPutFile.POS < InPutFile.LEN DO BEGIN
    InPutFile.READ(TextLine);

    // Add the following line.
    IF NOT RemoveBlankTagLine(TextLine) THEN

    OutPutFile2.WRITE(TextLine);
    END;
    InPutFile.CLOSE;
    ...
  3. Change the code in the RemoveBlankTagLine function in the SAF-T PT form (13382) as follows:
    Existing code

    ...
    EXIT(TRUE);
    END;

    BEGIN
    END.
    }
    ...

    Replacement code

    ...
    EXIT(TRUE);
    END;

    // Add the following lines.
    LOCAL PROCEDURE RemoveBlankTagLine@1110012(VAR TempStr@1110001 : Text[1024]) : Boolean;
    BEGIN
    IF SYSTEM.STRPOS(TempStr,'<Journal>') > 0 THEN
    JournalsFlag := TRUE;
    IF SYSTEM.STRPOS(TempStr,'</Journal>') > 0 THEN
    JournalsFlag := FALSE;
    IF NOT JournalsFlag THEN
    EXIT(FALSE);
    IF (SYSTEM.STRPOS(TempStr,'<CustomerID/>') > 0) OR
    (SYSTEM.STRPOS(TempStr,'<SupplierID/>') > 0) THEN
    EXIT(TRUE);
    END;
    // End of the line.

    BEGIN
    END.
    }
    ...
  4. Change the code in the GetSupCustID function in the SAF-T PT XMLPort (13301) as follows:
    Existing code

    ...
    PROCEDURE GetSupCustID@1110015(SourceType@1110000 : ' ,Customer,Vendor,Bank Account,Fixed Asset');
    BEGIN
    WITH TempGLEntry2 DO BEGIN
    RESET;
    SETCURRENTKEY("Document No.","Posting Date");
    ...

    Replacement code

    ...
    PROCEDURE GetSupCustID@1110015(SourceType@1110000 : ' ,Customer,Vendor,Bank Account,Fixed Asset');
    BEGIN

    // Add the following lines.
    EntriesSupplierID := '';
    EntriesSupplierID := '';
    // End of the lines.

    WITH TempGLEntry2 DO BEGIN
    RESET;
    SETCURRENTKEY("Document No.","Posting Date");
    ...
