This article applies to Microsoft Dynamics NAV for the Portuguese (pt) language locale.

When you generate an "FA Mod. 32.1" report that uses the Sumário layout in the Portuguese version of Microsoft Dynamics NAV 5.0 Service Pack 1 (SP1), the fixed assets that are fully depreciated do not appear on the report in separate lines.

This problem occurs because the legal tax groups are not divided when the fixed assets are fully depreciated in previous years.

Symptoms

Hotfix information

A supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft. However, it is only intended to correct the problem that is described in this article. Apply it only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem. This hotfix may receive additional testing. Therefore, if you are not severely affected by this problem, we recommend that you wait for the next Microsoft Dynamics NAV service pack or the next Microsoft Dynamics NAV version that contains this hotfix.

Note In special cases, charges that are ordinarily incurred for support calls may be canceled if a Technical Support Professional for Microsoft Dynamics and related products determines that a specific update will resolve your problem. The usual support costs will apply to additional support questions and issues that do not qualify for the specific update in question.

Code changes

Note Always test code fixes in a controlled environment before you apply the fixes to your production computers.
To resolve this problem, follow these steps:

  1. Change the code in the NumCount - OnPreDataItem trigger in the FA Mod. 32.1 report (13340) as follows:
    Existing code

    ...
    DataItemVarName=NumCount;
    PrintOnlyIfDetail=Yes;
    OnPreDataItem=BEGIN

    //Delete the following lines.
    IF Layout = Layout::Detalhe THEN
    SETRANGE(Number,1,2)
    ELSE
    SETRANGE(Number,1,1);
    //End of the lines.

    HasFullyDepreciatedFA := FALSE;
    HasNotFullyDepreciatedFA := FALSE;
    END;
    ...

    Replacement code

    ...
    DataItemVarName=NumCount;
    PrintOnlyIfDetail=Yes;
    OnPreDataItem=BEGIN

    //Add the following line.
    SETRANGE(Number,1,2);

    HasFullyDepreciatedFA := FALSE;
    HasNotFullyDepreciatedFA := FALSE;
    END;
    ...
  2. Change the code in the FADepBook1 - OnAfterGetRecord trigger in the FA Mod. 32.1 report (13340) as follows:
    Existing code

    ...
    SortCriteriaAuxBook@1110000 : Record 5612;
    FADepBook2@1110001 : Record 5612;
    BEGIN

    //Delete the following lines.
    IF Layout = Layout::Detalhe THEN BEGIN
    FADepBook2.GET("FA No.","Depreciation Book Code");
    FADepBook2.SETRANGE("FA Posting Date Filter",0D,CALCDATE('<-1Y+CY>',"Final Date"));
    FADepBook2.CALCFIELDS("Fully depreciated");
    IF FADepBook2."Fully depreciated" THEN
    HasFullyDepreciatedFA := TRUE
    ELSE
    HasNotFullyDepreciatedFA := TRUE;
    IF FADepBook2."Fully depreciated" XOR (NumCount.Number = 1) THEN
    CurrReport.SKIP;
    END;
    //End of the lines.

    FADepBook1.CALCFIELDS("Acquisition Cost",Depreciation,"Proceeds on Disposal", "Gain/Loss",
    "Write-Down",Appreciation,"Custom 1","Custom 2","Depreciable Basis");
    ...

    Replacement code

    ...
    SortCriteriaAuxBook@1110000 : Record 5612;
    FADepBook2@1110001 : Record 5612;
    BEGIN

    //Add the following lines.
    FADepBook2.GET("FA No.","Depreciation Book Code");
    FADepBook2.SETRANGE("FA Posting Date Filter",0D,CALCDATE('<-1Y+CY>',"Final Date"));
    FADepBook2.CALCFIELDS("Fully depreciated");
    IF FADepBook2."Fully depreciated" THEN
    HasFullyDepreciatedFA := TRUE
    ELSE
    HasNotFullyDepreciatedFA := TRUE;
    IF FADepBook2."Fully depreciated" XOR (NumCount.Number = 1) THEN
    CurrReport.SKIP;
    //End of the lines.

    FADepBook1.CALCFIELDS("Acquisition Cost",Depreciation,"Proceeds on Disposal", "Gain/Loss",
    "Write-Down",Appreciation,"Custom 1","Custom 2","Depreciable Basis");
    ...
  3. Change the code in the FADepBook1, Footer (6) - OnPreSection trigger in the FA Mod. 32.1 report (13340) as follows:
    Existing code

    ...
    SectionWidth=28800;
    SectionHeight=423;
    OnPreSection=BEGIN

    //Delete the following line.
    CurrReport.SHOWOUTPUT((NumCount.Number = 1) AND HasFullyDepreciatedFA AND HasNotFullyDepreciatedFA);

    END;

    }
    ...

    Replacement code

    ...
    SectionWidth=28800;
    SectionHeight=423;
    OnPreSection=BEGIN

    //Add the following lines.
    CurrReport.SHOWOUTPUT((NumCount.Number = 1) AND HasFullyDepreciatedFA AND HasNotFullyDepreciatedFA AND
    (Layout = Layout::Detalhe));
    //End of the lines.

    END;

    }
    ...
