Symptoms
Consider the following scenario:

You install an October 2013 cumulative update for a Japanese, Korean or Chinese version of Microsoft Lync 2010.

You make a video call or join a video conference in Lync 2010.

You try to start the video or make the video pause by clicking the play/pause button on the screen.
In this situation, the text that describes the play/pause button is not displayed on the screen. For example, the following Japanese text is not displayed:
マイ ビデオの一時停止
Cause
This issue occurs because the text that describes the play/pause button has the same color as the background. Therefore, you cannot see the text on the screen.
Resolution
To resolve this issue, install the following cumulative update:
