Are you having trouble downloading Microsoft SwiftKey Languages?

Please make sure you are running the latest version of Microsoft SwiftKey. To check this, tap Microsoft SwiftKey Keyboard in the app list, then ‘About Microsoft SwiftKey’ from underneath ‘Information.’ If you are not on this version, please upgrade by visiting the Google Play Store and locating Microsoft SwiftKey Keyboard.

Please try the below steps once you have confirmed you are on the latest version of Microsoft SwiftKey.



If Language download fails: 


First:

  1. Open the Microsoft SwiftKey app.

  2. Tap 'Languages'

  3. Tap circular arrow icon.

  4. Update languages.

This should refresh the list and allow you to download the languages without any problem.

Problem Updating Language:

 

  1. Please make sure that you are connected to "WiFi" or Data connection.

  2. Go to SwiftKey Settings > Languages.

  3. "Tap circular arrow icon" in the top right-hand corner to update languages.

  4. Try and re-download your desired language from the list of languages.
