Turn-in celebrations in Microsoft Teams Assignments
Celebrate student effort with turn-in celebrations! Every time a student submits their work in Microsoft Teams for Education, a rotating variety of animations play. From a swinging sloth to treasure chest discoveries, each animation brings excitement to students who complete their assignments! Turn-in celebrations transform trial into triumph and contribute to student motivation.
Note: The Assignments tab is only available in class teams.
Turn-in celebrations are automatically enabled
Fun is built into Microsoft Teams for Education! Turn-in celebrations are turned on by default in your class team.
To unlock the magic for your students, simply create an assignment, then wait for students to select Turn in on their work.
Turn off turn-in celebrations
If turn-in celebrations aren't right for your class, you can turn them off in Assignment Settings.

Navigate to the desired class team and select Assignments.

Select the gear icon for Assignment settings.

Turn off the Turn-in celebrations toggle.
You can return to turn celebrations back on anytime.
