Introduction

This article describes the update for daylight saving time (DST) changes for Brazil and São Tomé and Príncipe in Windows Embedded Compact 2013.

Summary

This is an update for users in Brazil and in São Tomé and Príncipe to apply DST changes and adjustments.

Brazil

Beginning in 2018, Brazil begins its DST observance on the first Sunday in November instead of the third Sunday in October. Clocks in Brazil will move forward one hour on November 4, 2018 at 00:00 hours.

Prerequisites

This update is supported only if all previously issued updates for this product have also been installed.

Restart requirement

After you apply this update, you must perform a clean build of the whole platform. To do this, use one of the following methods:

  • On the Build menu, click Clean Solution, and then click Build Solution.

  • On the Build menu, click Rebuild Solution.

You do not have to restart the computer after you apply this software update.

Update replacement

This update does not replace any other updates.
