Cause

There is an update available for Microsoft Dynamics CRM for Outlook.

Resolution

You can update Microsoft Dynamics CRM for Outlook using one of the following options:


Windows Update

1. Open your system’s Control Panel by clicking on Start and typing “Control Panel”

2. Choose System and Security

3. Choose Windows Update

4. Choose Check for Updates

Manual Download

1. Locate the latest update using the appropriate link below:
   
   Microsoft Dynamics for Outlook, version 9.0 Update 1.0
   
   Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2016 updates and hotfixes
   
   Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2015 updates and hotfixes

2. Download and install the latest update.  
   

Use the Microsoft Support and Recovery Assistant 

1. Download and run the Microsoft Support and Recovery Assistant

2. Click the Dynamics CRM Online option.

3. Click the CRM for Outlook scenario and continue through the wizard.

4. If the latest update is not installed, it will provide a direct link to the appropriate download.
