Click to Do (preview) improves your workflow by letting you interact with text and images on your screen. As you view saved snapshots, it analyzes the content locally and allows quick actions like web searches or detail extraction. Learn how to use a screen reader to interact with Click to Do, including how to identify actionable content, explore options, and complete tasks.

How to use Click to Do
To open Click to Do, use one of the following methods:

Press Windows key+Q to open Click to Do.

Press Windows key+Shift+S to open the Snipping Tool. Use Tab to navigate to “Click to Do (preview) button,” then press Enter.

Press Windows key+Left click on the screen to open Click to Do.
Use keyboard shortcuts in Click to Do

How to use Click to Do with text and images
Click to Do (C2D) provides two ways to interact with detected text and images:

Select specific text or an image: Select a desired text or image, then explore the available options with click to Do.

Open Click to Do in full-screen mode: Scan for all detected items, select one, and then explore the available options.
To navigate Click to Do, follow these steps:

Press Windows key+Q to open the full-screen Click to Do experience.

Press Enter to begin navigating between detected text and image.

Use Tab or Shift+Tab to move between detected text and images.

Once you reach the text or image you want to work with, press the Spacebar or Context menu key to explore available Click to Do options. Press Enter to select an option and perform a desired action.

To find specific text on screen, press CTRL+F then type the text and press Enter to move focus to the selected text element.

If the text you’re searching for appears on the screen multiple times, navigate through the results by selecting the Previous result button or the Next result button, and then press Enter.

Press Tab until you hear "More options button," and press Enter. Use the Up or Down arrow key to navigate, and press Enter to select.

Select Unpin toolbar to remove this from taskbar.

Select Send feedback to share your opinion.

Select Learn more for additional help.

To exit Click to Do, press Esc key or navigate to the Close Click to Do button and press Enter.
Use Click to Do with text
When Click to Do detects text in a snapshot, it opens a popup window allowing you to perform the following actions depending on the selected text:

Copy: This allows you to copy the text to the clipboard.

Open with: This allows you to choose an application to edit the text, such as Notepad.

Search the web: This allows you to conduct a web search using your default browser.

Send email: If the text is an email address, this allows you to send an email using your default mail app.

Open website: If the text is a URL, this allows you to open the URL in your default browser.

Use Click to Do with images
When Click to Do detects an image in a snapshot, it opens a popup window allowing you to perform the following actions:

Copy: This allows you to copy the image to the clipboard.

Save as: This allows you to save the image to a specific location.

Share: This opens the Share window to send the image via available sharing options.

Open with: This allows you to open the image using an application like Photos or Paint.
-
Blur background: This allows you to use the Photos app to blur the image’s background.
-
Erase objects: This allows you to remove unwanted objects using the Photos app.

Remove background: This allows you to use Paint to remove the image’s background.

Visual search with Bing: This performs a Bing visual search.
