Symptoms

Consider the following scenario:

  • You set Japanese as the primary language on a Windows Embedded 8 Standard-based computer.

  • You install update 2770917.

  • You try to open gpedit.msc or secpol.msc.

In this scenario, you receive warning messages.

This issue occurs because certain language files are removed when you install update 2770917.
