Clipchamp is a video editor designed to make video creation easy for everyone, even for those with no prior editing experience.
It allows you to combine your videos, images, and audio files, as well as add text and effects, and then save the finished video to your computer. You can also add stock videos and stock music or sound effects. Just sign up for a free account and start editing your videos straight away.

What software do I need to be able to use Clipchamp?
All you need is a desktop or laptop computer with Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge (Chromium-based) installed. Simply open a new browser tab and go to app.clipchamp.com.
On Windows 11 devices you can also use Clipchamp's app, just search for "Clipchamp" in the taskbar or via the Start menu 
.
On Windows 10 devices, you can install the app via its entry in the Microsoft Store.
Our desktop editor is currently not supported on mobile devices, however, we also have a mobile app available that works on Apple phones.
Does it cost anything?
There are free and paid options. A paid subscription for our Essentials plan gives access to premium features such as stock assets, but a free account still includes all the tools you need to edit your videos. In addition, if you're on a Microsoft 365 personal or family plan, some (but not all) Clipchamp premium options are enabled for you.
How is it different from other video creation tools?
While many other editing applications require you to download software, Clipchamp functions entirely in your browser, utilizing our unique localized processing.
It is also more private than other online editors because it doesn't require you to upload your media files and can therefore get you working with your files faster.

In Clipchamp, every step of the video creation process happens locally on your computer.
