Symptoms
Assume that you install a scan device and the driver on a Windows 8.1-based or Windows Server 2012 R2-based computer. In the Devices and Printers window, you request an image scan. In this situation, the scan operation does not start the Windows Image Acquisition (WIA) image processing filter and the desired scan output is not received.
