Symptoms

Assume that you start a Windows 8.1-based computer in audit mode. When you try to install several Windows Store apps, Windows restarts unexpectedly, and then returns to audit mode. Additionally, the Windows Store apps are removed.

To apply this hotfix, you must be running Windows RT 8.1, Windows 8.1, or Windows Server 2012 R2.
