Working with Images

Paste an Image

To insert an image, copy an image you want from your favorite application or File Explorer to place it on the system clipboard.

To add the image to a journal,  tap a blank part of the page where you wish to insert the image using your finger and then tap the Paste button  in the context menu that appears.

Insert an Image

Tap the Plus button  in the Toolbar and choose Insert an Image. A File Explorer dialog will appear. Once you have selected a photo to insert, press the Insert button at the bottom of File Explorer and Journal will place the image at the top of the current page.

The image will be in the selected state so you can easily move it by dragging your finger on it.

You can also capture pictures from your device's camera.

Selecting an Image

1. Tap an image with your finger to select it. You can learn more about other ways to select images and content in the Selecting Ink and Action article.

2. Once selected, you can move the image using your finger or pen, or you can complete other actions that appear on the toolbar.

Resizing an Image

1. Tap an image with your finger to select it.

2. Drag the square in the lower-right corner to resize.

Deleting an Image

1. Tap an image with your finger to select it.

2. Tap the Delete icon  in the menu that appears to erase the image.
