To resolve this issue, upgrade to the latest version of Microsoft Security Essentials. Using the latest version of Microsoft Security Essentials helps make sure that you have continuous protection against viruses, spyware, and other malicious software.
To upgrade to the latest version of Microsoft Security Essentials, use one of the following methods:-
Click the Microsoft Security Essentials Home tab, and then click Upgrade Now.

On the Help menu, click Upgrade Microsoft Security Essentials.

Go to the Microsoft Security Essentials home page, and then click Free Download to install the latest version.
If you are not running Microsoft Security Essentials and you want to install the latest version, follow these steps:

Go to the Microsoft Security Essentials home page, and then click Free Download to install the latest version.

If a File Download notification appears, click Run.

If a User Account notification appears, click Yes.
