Symptoms
Consider the following scenario in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2:

You process a batch order that consumes a catch weight item.

You enter an open picking list journal and change the estimated quantities on the picking list journal line.
-
You change the catch weight quantity and Inventory the quantity.
-
You commit the changes.
In this scenario, you receive an error message that resembles one of the followings:
-
Function PdsCatchWeight::adjustSplitQuantities has been incorrectly called.
-
Quantity Quantity cannot be updated with inventory reference Prod. picking list journal because inventory transactions with status On order, Reserved ordered, Reserved physical or Picked are insufficient.

The quantity cannot be reduced. The number of inventory transactions on order is too low because the quantity or part of it is referenced by an output order or a production order or is marked against other transactions

Prerequisites
You must have Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2 installed to apply this hotfix.
Restart requirement
You must restart the Application Object Server (AOS) service after you apply the hotfix.
The global version of this hotfix has the file attributes (or later file attributes) that are listed in the following table. The dates and times for these files are listed in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). When you view the file information, it is converted to local time. To find the difference between UTC and local time, use the Time Zone tab in the Date and Time item in Control Panel.
