Symptoms
When you run the WMS Shipment Reservation function in Inventory Management in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 Service Pack 1 (SP1), you receive the following error message:
Warehouse=MW, Location=Location, Pallet ID=Pallet ID, Serial number=Serial_Number cannot be reserved because only 0,00 are available in the inventory.
Update has been cancelled.
This problem occurs because the reservation does not consider the primary dimensions (Batch and Serial number) set on the original movement.

Validation of the application hotfix installation
To validate the installation of the application hotfix, open the SysHotfixManifest class in the Application Object Tree (AOT), and then verify that there is a method whose name is the same as the KB article number of the installed hotfix.
Additionally, you can cross-check the affected objects by viewing the KB2521306 .txt file against the objects in the AOT. Therefore, you can make sure that the objects are changed correctly in the SYP layer or the GLP layer.
