Symptoms
In Microsoft Business Solutions - Great Plains Manufacturing, you open the Manufacturing Order Entry dialog box. In that dialog box, you set the Scheduling Method entry to Backward Infinite. When you click Schedule MO, you receive the following error message:
Unhandled Script Exception: Division by zero, script aborted. EXCEPTION_CLASS_SCRIPT_DIVIDE_BY_ZERO
Cause
This problem occurs if a routing sequence has a Cycle Time entry that is set to 0 and has a Queue Time entry that is set to a number that is larger than zero.
Workaround
To work around this problem, follow these steps:

Click Transactions, point to Manufacturing, point to Manufacturing Orders, and then click MO Routing Edit.

In the MO Number field, type your MO number.

Find a routing sequence that has a Cycle Time entry that is set to 0 and that has a Queue Time entry that is set to a number that is larger than zero.

Type a number that is larger than zero in the Cycle Time field, and then click Save.

Repeat steps 3 and 4 for each routing sequence that has a Cycle Time entry that is set to 0 and that has a Queue Time entry that is set to a number that is larger than zero.
