Delete cookies in Microsoft Edge

Open the new Microsoft Edge  and then select Settings and more  > Settings  > Privacy and services .

Under Clear browsing data , select Choose what to clear .

Under Time range , choose a time range.

Select Cookies and other site data , and then select Clear now .

Delete cookies every time you close the browser

Open Microsoft Edge and then select Settings and more  > Settings  > Privacy and services .

Under Clear browsing data , select Choose what to clear every time you close the browser .

Turn on the Cookies and other site data toggle.

To delete cookies. In Internet Explorer, select the Tools button, point to Safety, and then select Delete browsing history. Select the Cookies and website data check box, and then select Delete.

In Edge, select Settings and more > Settings > Cookies and site permissions. Under Cookies and data stored, select Manage and delete cookies and site data > See all cookies and site data and search for the site whose cookies you want to delete.

Under Time range, choose a time range from the drop-down menu. Choose the types of browsing data you want to clear (see the table below for descriptions). For example, you may want to remove browsing history and cookies but keep passwords and form fill data. Select Clear now.

Microsoft Edge will delete your browsing history, cookies, and site data, as well as passwords, addresses, and form data when you close all InPrivate windows. You can start a new InPrivate session by selecting Settings and more on a computer or Tabs on a mobile device.

If you also to want to remove any activity data that’s associated with cookies in your browser, you should clear your cookies in Microsoft Edge or Internet Explorer. Open Microsoft Edge and then select Settings and more > Settings > Site permissions. Select Cookies and site data. Here you can set specific controls for cookies. Select See all cookies and site data. Select the arrow for See all cookies and site data to view all cookies saved on your device. Note: This topic is for the new Microsoft Edge .

In the Edge Settings window, select Cookies and site permissions > Cookies and data stored > Manage and delete cookies and site data. Turn on Allow sites to save and read cookie data (recommended) , and make sure that Block third-party cookies is turned off.

These temporary allowances may allow requesting sites to track your activity across the web. You can remove these allowances at any time by going to Settings and more > Settings > Site permissions > Cookies and site data , or by selecting “Site permissions” when you clear browsing data.
