To remove a member from your family group, you must have an organizer account. If the member has parental consent on their account, you also need to be the one who gave consent. You'll need to remove consent on family.microsoft.com before removing them with the Xbox console (see Remove members from your family group online).

  1. Sign in with your account on the console.

  2. Press the Xbox  button on the controller to open the guide, then select Profile & system > Settings  > Account > Family settings > Manage family members.

  3. Enter a password or passkey to authorize the change.

  4. Select the account you want to remove, then select Remove <member name> from family.

  5. Select Remove from family to confirm.

You can also remove yourself from a family group

If you're worried that an unauthorized person has access to your account, use the Compromised Account Solution.
