- You run Windows Internet Explorer 10 or Internet Explorer 11 on one of the following operating systems:

- Windows 7
- You have several other windows opened on the computer.
- You go to a webpage that requires authentication in Internet Explorer 10 or Internet Explorer 11.
- You close the authentication dialog box.
Note The expected behavior is that the Internet Explorer window is the active window after you close the authentication dialog box.
