- You open Service Series Setup (SD.000.00), and you confirm that Auto Number Customer ID is not checked.
- You open Service Call Entry (SD.200.00), and you click the New Customer tab.
- You enter new customer information including values for all key fields, and then you click the Create button.
In this scenario, you receive the following error message:
All key fields must be entered before you can enter data in this field.
System Message 9
Item not found, please reenter.
However, you notice that the new customer record is actually saved to the database. If you close the Service Call and add a new Service Call, you can select and use this new customer.
