This article discusses why you cannot import the Apply-To information when importing cash receipts to Receivables Management or payments to Payables Management using the Table Import Tool.
You cannot successfully import Apply-To information to apply this cash receipt or payment to already posted invoices or vouchers. Because the Table Import is insert only, there is no way to update the Current Transaction Amount field on the original transaction to show that the payments/checks have been applied. The check links will not correct the Current Trx Amount field.
