When you undock some windows or change the window layout in the Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 Service Pack 1 (SP1) IDE, you may experience one or more of the following problems.
Scenario 1Consider the following scenario:
- You debug an application in the Visual Studio 2008 SP1 IDE.
- When you hit a breakpoint, you undock the Watch window or the CallStack window.
- You continue to debug, and then you enter the next statement.
- Then, you click Stop Debugging.
Scenario 2Consider the following scenario:
- You undock some windows in the Visual Studio 2008 SP1 IDE.
You redock the windows to other locations.
- You switch the window layout between full-screen mode and other modes.
This problem occurs because of an issue inside the Visual Studio shell engine.
