Note Groove does not require a Groove Music Pass. However, a Music Pass gives you access to a large library of music. If you don’t have a Groove Music Pass, try one free for 30 days.
  1. Go to Groove.
  2. Select Sign in.
  3. Enter your Microsoft account email address and password and select Sign in.

How to search for music
  1. In Groove (either in the app or using a browser), type an artist or a song keywords in the Search box.
  2. Choose from Artists, Albums and Songs displayed in your search results.
How to create a playlist
  1. In Groove, select “+ New Playlist” in the left navigation bar.
  2. Under Give this playlist a name, enter a name for the playlist and then select Save.

To add music to a playlist, follow these steps:

  1. Select the music that you want to add to a playlist.
  2. While the music is playing, click or tap the “” icon next to the album artwork, then select Add to and then select the playlist.
How to download music

  1. Search for and select the music that you want to download.
  2. Select the “” icon next to the album artwork, select + Add to and then select Collection.
