On the Insert tab, select Header & Footer and choose Footer. Â

Enter the footer text in the box.
You can also select Date and time or Slide number to add them to the slides.

Select Don't show on title slide to not have the footer to appear on the title slide,

Select Apply to apply changes only to the current slide, or Apply to All for every slide in the file.
Tip: You can also add or edit a header for slides.

(You can also select Slide number to add automatic numbering to the slides.)

To apply changes to all the slides, select Apply to All, or, to change only the current slide, select the X close button.
