Apply a theme

1. On the Design tab, select   Themes.

2. Hover your mouse pointer on a theme to see its effect on your document.

3. Select a theme to apply it.

Applying a theme isn't currently possible in Word for the web. You can, however, apply a theme in the Word desktop app.

• To open the desktop app, at the top of the ribbon, select Editing > Open in Desktop.
