PowerPoint automatically bookmarks every slide in your presentation.

This means you can make a hyperlink to any slide from any other slide. When you are presenting to an audience, clicking the hyperlink will move you immediately to the target slide.

Create a hyperlink to a specific slide

  1. Select the text, shape, or picture that you want to use as a hyperlink.

  2. On the ribbon, select InsertLink.

  3. On the under Link to, select Place in This Document.

  4. Under Select a place in the document, expand Slide Titles, if necessary.

  5. Select the slide you want to link to.

  6. Edit the Text to display, if necessary, add a Screen Tip for accessibility, and then select OK.

Use the link while presenting

In Slide Show, when you come to the slide containing the hyperlink, pointing at the link will cause the mouse pointer to change to a hand with the index finger extended. Click to open the target slide.
