For classic Outlook, select File > Options.

In the Outlook Options dialog box that appears, select Mail > Stationery and Fonts.

Under New mail messages or Replying or forwarding messages, select Font and make the desired changes.
Tip: In a message you've received, you can make the text larger (or zoom in) by pressing the Ctrl key while rolling your mouse wheel forward. For more details, see Zoom in or out.

For new Outlook, in a new message or reply, select the text you want to format.

On the Message tab, use the Font and Font Size options to adjust the text.
Tip: To change font size on a received message, hold Ctrl and roll your mouse wheel. For more info, see Zoom in or out.

For Outlook for Mac, select Outlook > Settings > Fonts.

Under Default fonts for composing messages, select Font for each type of email message, then select the font, style, and size you want. Select OK to confirm your choices.
