In classic Outlook, go to View and selectÂ
 Current View > View Settings. -
Choose Conditional Formatting > Add to create a new blank rule.

Name your rule and choose Condition. In the Filter dialog, select the Where I am check box.

From the drop-down list, choose the only person on the To line, on the To line with other people, or on the CC line with other people, and select OK.

Select Font, make a selection from the Color drop-down list, and select OK three times.

In new Outlook, in Mail, on the View tab, selectÂ
 View settings. -
Select Mail > Rules.

Select Add new rule to create a new blank rule.

Under Add a condition, name your rule and choose conditions.

Under Add an action, select Categorize, then select the color category you want.

When you're done, select Save.
