You can copy and paste text and images in classic Outlook.Â

Select the text or picture you want to copy, then right-click the selection and chooseÂ
 Copy. -
Place the cursor where you want to paste, then select the Format Text tab and chooseÂ
 Paste.
Tip: By default, a message you are reading from someone else is not editable. If you want to paste into it, on the Message tab selectÂ
You can copy and paste text and images in new Outlook.
Copy text

Select the text to copy, right-click it and choose Copy, or press Ctrl+C.

Place the cursor where you want to paste, then press Ctrl+V.
Copy an image

Right-click the image, then select Copy image.

Place the cursor where you want to paste, then press Ctrl+V.

In Outlook for Mac, select the text or image to copy, then press ⌘+C.

Switch to the document or app where you want to paste, then press ⌘+V.
